Biography

He Lin graduated from the Clinical Medicine Program at Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2005. He then completed two years of residency training at Dongfeng General Hospital and was admitted to the Graduate Program in Plastic Surgery at Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2007, with a main research focus on ischemia-reperfusion injury of skin flaps. In 2010, he joined the Department of Plastic Surgery at Xijing Hospital, Fourth Military Medical University, where he successively served as a resident physician and attending physician. He studied under renowned plastic surgery experts Professors Guo Shuzhong and Shu Maoguo, and has mainly engaged in the repair of craniomaxillofacial traumatic deformities and the sequential treatment of cleft lip and palate; he also has extensive experience in wound repair and microsurgery. In addition, he has profound expertise in aesthetic surgery, especially aesthetic surgery of the eyes and nose. In August 2015, he went to the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in the United States for further study, focusing on wound repair and reconstruction and craniomaxillofacial surgery, while also conducting research on composite tissue allotransplantation at the University of Pittsburgh Transplantation Center.

(1) Facial plastic surgery: Extensive experience in eye and nose plastic surgery, cleft lip and palate repair, facial contouring surgery, and repair of various congenital and acquired craniomaxillofacial deformities; performs more than 500 various facial plastic and reconstructive surgeries annually with good outcomes;
(2) Wound repair: Extensive experience in wound repair, especially microsurgical repair of complex wounds.
Research direction: Main research interests include wound repair and scarring.
